When it comes to good Chinese restaurants, you can always tell the best when they are packed full of Chinese people eating Chinese food. If the same can be said of web sites then it is always good to see the designers of Web-D-Zine ( WDZ ) using the code generated by WDZ for there own projects.
The other good thing about the designers of WDZ using if for their own projects is that small fixes are made. It might not seem like a lot but the time generated for the xml sitemap was 2019-08-21 12:10:21 while google wanted 2019-08-21T12:10:21. Another small fix was that on category pages the search facility was going to a 404 page, while on core pages it was working correctly. So these two issues were soon updated on Salty Lass as well as on the previous case studies
These little additions are what the programmer puts in afterwards, so is not really part of the code generated by WDZ, but it is still good to know that code generated by WDZ can be easily fixed to create the front end result required.
Another little feature that the designers wanted was for categories to have their own unique colour, this was so that they could have Scotland as blue, Southern Ireland as green and boat projects as dark grey. A small fix to the code and the designers got what they wanted.
