Girlguiding Greater Manchester West contacted the retired owners of GemBiz because they wanted to update their web site in several key areas
- They needed an improved booking system for their activity centre
- They wanted to add a booking system for training
- They wanted to make sure that the resultant web site was mobile friendly
- They wanted a really easy system to maintain the web site as ladies of up to 100 needed to obtain reports generated by the web site on a regular basis
- They wanted to update the look of the web site, so that they could highlight news, training, as well as their activity centre
In able to achieve these requirements the base maintenance system created for Opus Business Media was used, then the in-house version of Web-D-Zine( WDZ ) was used to add the additional features. While these were being developed, manuals were created and training of the users was also carried out
