When creating a booking facility there are some simple things to consider:-

These simple questions can then be broken down to see what information is needed. In the case of the booking system for Ashley, the answers to these questions are:-

There are three main locations that can be booked, with the facility to book two or three of the locations together - When is the booking for?
Dates and times are required for this. With the arrival date being mandatory and the leaving date optional - Who is making the booking?
Contact name, Contact details and what type of organisation do they belong to as prices change depending on if they are with in the scouting and guiding movement and outside it
Once all the information is identified for the booking system, it is just a case of using Web-D-Zine ( WDZ ) to create the database to store the information, WDZ will also produce the back-end system so that users can access the information.
