The quotation "No battle plan ever survives contact with the enemy" was first attributed to Helmuth von Moltke the Elder, a Prussian general born in 1800, although the evidence according to Wikiquote is that the true phrase was "no plan of operations extends with any certainty beyond the first contact with the main hostile force". Since then the quote "No battle plan survives contact with the enemy" has been used by many famous people including General Colin Powell an American politician, statesman, diplomat, and a 4star general in the United States Army. While now it is being used by Web-D-Zine( WDZ ) to illustrate a few points.

The second was to do with your plans. WDZ can help with your plans and get your project started very quickly, but you need to engage your users as soon as possible, get them involved. WDZ was trying for the big reveal and it is not working. If we have to say why it is not working it is because we are trying to do too much. Dwight D. Eisenhower believed that rather than making one big plan it is better to make lots of little plans, that way you can monitor your objectives and your plans are more achievable.
